Coronavirus: Alas, we are still in the midst of a lockdown due to the Covid-19 pandemic, with no sign of quarantine guidelines loosening any time soon. This has obviously created some uncertainty with how the tech industry will be affected in the long run, with major tech conferences either being postponed or cancelled completely along with the postponing of products also – this has hit the video game market particularly hard.

At this time, we can only watch and wait but it is not all doom and gloom. We must thank all health-care workers out there helping us stay safe and putting their own health at risk so that ours stays well. And it will surprise no one that the likes of Zoom, Skype and WhatsApp have seen an incredible increase of users as we stay in contact with our loved ones.

We will be covering the overall effects the pandemic has had on the tech world later in the year but in the interim, stay safe, obey social distancing and be good to one another.

Website Updates: The Lamway website has seen a few updates thanks to the tireless efforts of our staff. Even in a pandemic there is still web design that needs doing.
